The empower Metabolic Health Genetic Test helps you understand your lipid and carbohydrate profile and how exercise and nutrition, influence the development of disease or optimize weight loss. This test analyses specific genetic mutations to determine whether there is increased cardiovascular risk associated with overweight, obesity, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hyperlipidaemia, high triglycerides, and/or elevated cholesterol.

This test provides detailed information about a person's genetic predisposition to weight gain and provides a deeper understanding of metabolic factors that may influence a person's ability to lose weight. Additionally, this test identifies predisposing factors to type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome, so you can take preventative measures and adjust your diet and exercise to reduce your risk of developing these diseases.

Furthermore, this test assesses cardiovascular risks associated with hyperlipidaemia, high triglycerides and/or high cholesterol, providing useful information for the prevention and treatment of heart disease.
